Our COVID-19 response

We are responding to COVID-19 through daily and weekly risk management strategies. The health, safety and wellbeing of students and staff remains our top priority, and we conduct pre- course screening (via a questionnaire). The below strategies are in place in our training environment:

  • Multiple hand sanitiser stations throughout the classroom
  • Checking temperatures on entry to the class environment
  • Implementing social distancing and capping our class numbers (on and off campus)
  • Infection control procedures, such as regular cleaning of high touch areas, use of PPE, regular cleaning of shared resources
  • We have asked staff that if they feel ill or exhibit symptoms consistent with COVID-19 to self-isolate and consult with healthcare providers
  • Check in via the QR code check in app, this will also allow our staff to check the vaccination status of students who are attending face to face courses.
  • As of December 17th, 2021 we will require a copy of every clients vaccination status, BEFORE attendance at any face to face training courses. This will be requested upon enrolment.
  • This is to ensure the safety of all staff and students attending our class groups in a face to face setting.
  • For unvaccinated students and clients we will be offering "virtual" classroom settings for all courses (apart from first aid courses due to the practical nature of this training).
