It’s official… Simpatico Safety has just been granted approval by WHSQ to deliver the new Qld Health and Safety Reps training package!

From 1 July 2018, all HSRs must undertake the relevant approved training course within six months of their election. Existing HSRs, who have not already completed the training, will have six months from 1 July 2018 to undertake this training.

Training consists of an initial five-day training course, and a one-day refresher course at least every three years.

Health and safety representatives help to give workers a voice in health and safety matters at the workplace and involve workers through participation and consultation.

Simpatico Safety is offering public HSR courses from our training rooms once per month, and on-site at your venue by arrangement.
